About On The Up

On The Up Professional Coaching represents an ideal, a belief - that everyone has what it takes to achieve the level of happiness, balance and success that they want and deserve in their lives.

On The Up was created by Andrew Sheridan, a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and leadership trainer with extensive experience coaching private clients and business leaders working in international corporations. Andrew also holds the PCC (Professional Certified Coach) credential from the International Coach Federation (ICF), and specialises in the area of leadership behaviour, particularly in the areas of personal impact, emotional intelligence, and effective communication.

Andrew received his coach training with The Coaches Training Institute (CTI), the first coach training school to have its programs accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF). A founder, and former President of, the ICF Chapter in Luxembourg, Andrew is also a member of the CTI faculty, delivering coach training programs globally in both English and French. Andrew is therefore well versed in the Co-Active Coaching methodology selected by companies such as BASF, Adidas, Microsoft, IBM, Prudential, Walt Disney, Marriott and Boeing to name but a few.
Andrew's expertise in leadership coaching has been underpinned by his own focus on continuous professional development. In addition to his rigorous professional coach training, he has completed CTI's intensive year-long leadership training program that puts experiential learning over leadership theory. He has developed the cutting-edge skills required to unearth leadership strengths in others, supporting them as they break through their own self-perceived limits, and create powerful alliances and extraordinary performance in their own day-to-day lives.
Andrew's career has spanned over 22 years in a range of disciplines including banking, education and coaching/leadership development. In 2007, his commitment to his profession also saw him choose to leave the corporate world and undertake in-depth study and research in the fields of social science, psychology and management theory at the Australian College of Applied Psychology in Brisbane. Andrew's early career was in international banking where he spent 10 years working in various sales and relationship management roles within the securities divisions of prestigious international banking organisations. Managing a portfolio of institutional clients including ABN Amro, Bank of England, Royal Trust Corporation of Canada, RBC Dexia, KBC and Fortis among others, Andrew went on to become Vice President of Sales for the Benelux countries.

On The Up is drawn from Andrew's own experience of personal growth and leadership, moving from a place where nothing 'worked out' to the place he is in today. Today, he gets to live a fulfilling life, merging his corporate background with the time-tested model of co-active coaching, and challenging people to be courageous and authentic. He is out there making a change in the world, in his own personal way. While On The Up represents his personal work, he merged his corporate and executive work with some like-minded agents of change in 2012, forming a second company dedicated to that arena.

A dual British and Luxembourgish citizen, Andrew has lived and worked in Luxembourg, the UK, Germany, Asia, North & South America, and Australia. His upbringing in central Europe has shaped his strong interest in cultural diversity, and he is fluent in both French and German. Andrew is currently based in the UK, dividing his time between there and South East Asia.

Life is good. Life is On The Up.
